What is the Add Listing Process for Mtree

Answer

Assuming that the listing is made from the Front End the process is this.

1. User Places a Listing

2. Listing appears in My Listings Management with all payment button options showing for each that is enabled in PP Admin General Settings. User selects payment option and completes relevant payment process/form.

3. For Free Listings or Payments made OffLine the listing is placed in a Pending Admin Approval state. Admin receives an email advising that a pending listing is awaiting approval. Admin then needs to visit PP Admin > Manage Subscriptions and filter for Offline Pending from the Select by Payment Status dropdown.

Then select the pending listing to edit.  The Items marked in Red on the Left Side require editing at the top of the page is a brief run down of what's required for these items.

If you are still getting the Pending Approval Message then you haven't changed the Set Payment Status: to Completed

Additionally if you are getting STATUS = LISTING APPROVED WITH ERRORS
then you haven't set the Listing Approved: to Yes OR Set the Publish Up and or Publish Down Dates correctly.

From page 44 in the PP User Manual is a series of tables that show what triggers the different statuses these tables should help identify what settings you may have missed.

If payment is made by PayPal or 2CO then these settings are applied automatically.

If a listing is placed by Admin directly from Mtree then you've bypassed the PP System and you'll need to create a subscription manually in PP > Manage Subscriptions.
